These are sound activated light up t-shirts. The technology behind this wearable, electronically interactive t-shirt lies in several components, which will be individually detailed below.
The Shirt
This unique, high-quality, shirt starts with a thick 180 gsm (gauge of thickness) which is also 100% cotton. Unlike some lower quality, cheaper shirts you'll find elsewhere, we don't reduce the thickness of the shirt to almost see through levels just to save a few pennies. We don't mind spending a little more per shirt if it means better quality. You'll also find a small hidden pocket on the inside of the shirt that will be useful for holding the shirt's battery pack. We strongly recommend using this pocket rather than your pants pocket to reduce tugging on the panel, which could lead to permanent damage over time. Due to the Asian/European styling of these shirts, they tend to run small at larger sizes.

The Battery Pack
Next up is the shirt's battery pack. Its dimensions are 5.50 cm x 5.25 cm x 1.25 cm and it only weighs 32 g / 1.1 oz. This battery pack uses the most recent, brand spanking new, developments in light up t-shirt technology. Nobody else in the entire world sells this type of battery pack. It uses a super thin rechargeable lithium polymer cell in place of the 4 AAA batteries that are typically used to power these shirts. The battery pack can be charged using an included USB cable. Using a wall AC to USB converter, you can charge the battery pack without a computer. Buying our shirts will save you tons of money and waste from buying and throwing out AAA batteries. This battery pack also includes a built in microphone along with adjustable sensitivity. When the battery pack detects noise, music, clapping, talking, etc… any sort of audio, it will send a signal to the shirt's panel, which in turn will begin to illuminate. When louder sounds are detected, a greater portion of the shirt will light up.

Care
As described above, the panel has some small vulnerability flaws. When washing the shirt, you'll want to remove the battery pack and take care to not crumple the panel. Do not machine wash or dry this shirt. It is strongly recommended to hand wash the shirt and let it hang dry. The panel may get wet, and even submerged, please allow over 24 hours for the shirt and the panel to dry. When you receive your light up t-shirt, you will notice that it has been folded in a very specific way that keeps the panel flat. You'll want to follow a similar folding style when you are storing and traveling with your shirt. Keep it as flat as possible.
Shipping
All shirts are typically shipped out via USPS within 24 hours of your purchase. Standard domestic shipping is free. International shipping charges will be automatically calculated depending on your location. We do not charge handling fees. USPS First-Class Mail is the standard shipping option for both domestic and international orders. All domestic customers will receive a tracking number via email immediately upon shipment. There is no tracking available on First-Class International Mail. If you make multiple orders within a one-hour period, your shipping service will be automatically upgraded to USPS Priority Mail free of charge.
About Us
A then 16 year-old sophomore high school student, Michael Sparks, started SpaxShop in 2005. He is currently a 1st year graduate student attending the University at Buffalo. In 2013 he is expected to complete a joint undergraduate Electrical Engineering degree with a Master's in Business Administration.
